Waitlists

We know it can be frustrating to get on a waitlist. Here are some common questions and answers to explain more about what this means.

  • What does it mean when a program is waitlisted?
That means the program has reached its capacity and cannot accept any more campers.

  • Can’t you just add more capacity?
Unfortunately, no. We have limited space on campus and adding more spots would mean having to reduce capacity in other programs.

  • So if I’m on a waitlist, what happens now?
If a camper cancels their registration or moves to a different program, we reach out to waitlisted families in the order they were added to the waitlist to see if they are still interested.

  • How do I figure out where I am on the waitlist?
You can contact us and we can let you know. However, depending on the time of year, the position can change frequently as numbers move quite a bit.

  • Do I have to pay to be on a waitlist?
No. You are not required to pay a deposit unless a spot opens up and you accept it. Then you must either pay the deposit or apply for financial aid.

  • Can I be on more than one waitlist?
    You absolutely can!

  • Can I enroll in an open program and be on a waitlist?
Yes you can. In fact, we encourage that! Getting enrolled in an open program will guarantee that your camper will be able to attend camp. If a spot opens in your waitlisted program, we can transfer your camper over for no additional fees. All of your payments and information will automatically transfer over to the other program.
