YMA seeks an exceptional leader to deliver on our mission by continuing the summer camp tradition while seeking opportunities to grow YMA into an even more sustainable, high-impact organization.
The Executive Director (ED) will lead YMA by managing the finances, staff, and structure needed to enact YMA’s mission. The ED will increase YMA’s visibility by serving as the external face of the organization, developing partnerships, handling grant writing and donor relations, and overseeing recruitment for the camp. The ED will ensure YMA’s sustainability by ensuring fiscal responsibility and guiding the Board of Directors. The ED will lead the growth of YMA towards long-term impact by creating a strategic plan and setting and achieving ambitious goals. This position requires a passion for our work, significant capacity for marketing and fundraising, a strategic vision, and the ability to support the day-to-day operations of a small organization.
The ED will report to the YMA Board. This is a full-time, exempt, management position. For the right candidate, a .8 position may be possible.
