Dear YMA Community,

As we begin the exciting work of preparing registration for Camp 2024, we are overwhelmed by the enthusiasm  and support you've shown to Young Musicians & Artists. Your participation is the cornerstone of our success, and we couldn't be more thankful.

At YMA, our mission has always been to provide a meaningful arts education that not only nurtures the artistic talents of our students but also caters to their social and emotional well-being. As we navigate the intricate details of the upcoming summer, we find ourselves at the threshold of an important decision: assessing tuition.

The vibrant, creative space we offer at Willamette University has been our home for an incredible 45 years, and we recognize the profound impact it has on the YMA experience. The costs associated with our beloved Willamette campus are rising considerably, impacting rates for housing, classroom space, and food, all of which contribute significantly to the success of YMA programs.

In light of these considerations, we are compelled to make adjustments to the tuition for Camp 2024. We understand that any change in fees affects each and every member of our community, and we want to express our heartfelt appreciation for your understanding. The decision to increase tuition is not taken lightly; rather, it is a crucial step toward ensuring the sustainability of YMA in the years to come. As always, we support many families through our robust financial aid program, and we promise to continue our commitment to that.

Your support has been our greatest strength, and, as we embark on this journey together, we remain committed to maintaining the essence of YMA – a haven for artistic excellence and personal growth. We look forward to sharing another enriching and inspiring camp season with all of you.

Thank you for being an integral part of the YMA family.

Warm regards,

Kate, Galen, and the YMA Board
