Area of Study: PHOTOGRAPHY
Session 2: July 11 – July 23, 2010
Grades: 6-12

Photography class features instruction in composition, exposure techniques, black and white printing, color slide exposure, and photograms. Daily shooting assignments are followed by darkroom work and group critiques.

Advanced photography students learn the rudiments of digital image manipulation and printing using Macintosh computers, the latest Adobe Photoshop software, and Epson 1270 color inkjet printers.

Photography students exhibit their work in the Smith Gallery and produce a seven minute slide show that opens the final performance on the last night of the session.


THE PHOTOGRAPHY CLASS IS LIMITED TO FIFTEEN STUDENTS.
