YMA DVD AVAILABLE

Green Fire Productions of Portland spent hundreds of hours taping the twenty-minute YMA Promotional Video at both sessions of the 2001 YMA program. The production crew studied the YMA Brochure, previous videos, numerous schedules and discussed each two-week program in great detail with former YMA Director Brian M. Biggs.

According to Karen Meyer, Green Fire Executive Director, "Even after all that preliminary work, we weren't quite prepared for what we saw and heard. To say that we were highly impressed with the artistic achievement of everyone at YMA would be an understatement. The student's approach to learning, practice, performance, friendships, free time, responsibility, and even cleanliness made a powerful impression on us. There was a compassion for the arts and a compassion for each other that was remarkable. Thank you all for your participation."
